This is a a 60' x 80' x 20' high ESI structure first installed in 1986 and still in operation. It has maintained operation in the face of windstorms that tore out trees with 12" - 14" trunks.

Its second cover is nearing the end if its life cycle and a decision is expected soon as to whether to replace it with some modifications, or build an entirely new facility.

This Lab is used to test sensitive electronic and radio equipment. As such, it had to be fabricated with non-metallic cables to prevent signal interference.

The cover was fabricated with RF welded vinyl panels in two layers. A clear window to the parking lot was specified and a window clear panel was provided. 

A simple forced air furnace has proven adequate to maintain temperature and inflation for very cost effective operation.
