This was a permanent cover for an executive swimming pool. It was 65' wide x 100' long, anchored to buildings, infrastructure and walls that pre-existing. The end walls we flat and filled with  an arch to which the cover was attached with a flexible, expandable seal. The cover was two layers of window clear vinyl, providing natural sunlight and an outdoor feel just as would be experienced outside. The lifeguard stated that he needed to where sunglasses and a hat due to the intensity of the sunlight.

A high volume make up air ventilation system of multiple fans was designed to handle the humidity and maintain a comfortable ambient temperature.

This facility was in operation for over 20 years and was written up in Progressive Architecture.
